Memory Maker

Memory Maker

I've been doing a lot of research on the Memory Maker lately as I have a large family trip planned in the near future and thought it the perfect opportunity to review and test the Memory Maker product Disney has launched for myself.

We have three different families headed out to Disney during the same dates and I am anxious to see how well the My Disney Experience accounts tie together and allow us to all take advantage of the Memory Maker.

First things first, you must have a My Disney Experience account.  Next, each of your family members needs to setup their My Disney Experience account, you can also invite them through email from your personal account.   Finally, the most crucial step, you must link your accounts on your family and friends list within the My Disney Experience site and allow photo sharing privileges.

I will warn you, if this is your first time navigating the My Disney Experience site don't hesitate to contact the My Disney Experience technical support.  I have had to call a few times and each time they have had to do something behind the scenes for me in order for things to work properly.  I've always had great assistance and knowledgeable cast members when I have called.

When you purchase the Memory Maker you must assign one person "Entitlement" privileges.  This simply means this person "owns" the memory maker or is able to download the photos.  You can reassign anyone the role of being "entitled" (haha... entitled) up until you download the first photo than it can no longer be changed.

Ok, you're on your trip now what?

Great question!  When you come in contact with a Photopass Photographer you simply have them scan your magic band and let the photo shoot begin!  Your photos will automatically link to your My Disney Experience account.  Remember up above, that crucial step where we allowed photo sharing privileges with our friends and family list... Well now the Entitlement/owner of the Memory Maker can access your photos and upon arriving home download them onto a flash-drive and mail them directly to you.  You own these photos and can simply print them at your local photoshop or an online photoshop such as snappish.

Important Factors:
*When you take a picture with your Magic Band it will load to your My Disney Experience count and expire at the 45 day mark.

*When you download your first picture (referring to the person who has the Entitlement feature for Memory Maker) you will have 30 days to continue taking pictures or downloading images before your Memory Maker Account closes.

We are always looking for knowledgeable Disney lovers to join our team!  If you're interested please visit our "Join Our Team" page and fill out an application to get started!
